An x-factor for every team heading into the NBA’s restart
NBA commissioner Adam Silver has made one thing clear over the past couple of weeks. Even though there are questions about the league’s return to play plan, the intent is to move forward with the idea and hope that basketball can return in a safe manner.
Silver said he believes in the plan and that it represents the safest option in a return to action. With that said, there is still plenty to answer over the course of the next few weeks as teams begin to ramp up the player and team training.
Teams are expected to begin to make the trek inside the Orlando/Disney bubble during the first week of July and play is set to begin July 30. The NBA released the full schedule for the eight “warmup” games for the teams participating in the resumption of play.
Roughly a month ahead of the restart of the 2019-20 season, it’s a good time to look back at where the season was left off. Especially if Silver and the league is set on at least trying to return to action in the bubble.
Before action resumes, let’s take a look back at where each team stood when the hiatus was implemented and we name on x-factor to keep an eye on when the restart takes place.
