X-factor: Reggie Jackson

The LA Clippers, on paper, is one of the most stacked teams in the NBA. The addition of Reggie Jackson was not one that made many headlines, but also one that could pay huge dividends deep in the playoffs. Jackson might not be the difference-maker he used to be, but is still a quality rotation player at this point in his career.

Plus, and especially in the manner that the NBA will be returning, depth could play a huge part in any team’s title march. Whoever wins the NBA championship this season will rely on a depth that perhaps was otherwise an afterthought.

The Clippers could be the perfect team for that formula. And the addition of Reggie Jackson just before the hiatus was the perfect definition of a team rounding out their depth and roster for a deep playoff run.
