X-factor: Donte DiVincenzo

For the majority of the 2019-20 regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks looked like one of the most dominant teams in NBA history. And the statistics would back that up. Heading into the NBA’s restart, there’s no sure way of knowing if they’ll simply be able to pick up where they left off.

One potential x-factor heading into the restart, however, is Donte Divincenzo.

In the three games before the NBA went into a hiatus, DiVincenzo averaged 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists on 56 percent shooting from the field and 44 percent shooting from 3-point range. If he can build off that heading into the hiatus, he could emerge as a hidden threat for the Bucks in the playoffs.

The Bucks are the overwhelming favorites to win the Eastern Conference and perhaps to even win the NBA championship overall, but they’re going to need help from “the others” to get it done in the bubble. Donte DiVincenzo could be one of those “others” that help Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks get the job done this season.
