Will the Indiana Pacers trade Victor Oladipo this offseason?

The Indiana Pacers are getting ready to resume playing along with another 21 NBA teams at the end of this month in Orlando. Unfortunately, the team will be without their All-Star shooting guard Victor Oladipo as he has decided to sit out the restart to fully get healthy after a devastating quad injury last season.

The loss of Oladipo means that the Pacers most likely won’t be able to reach their ceiling and really contend in the Eastern Conference this year, but we shouldn’t count them out just yet. This season, the Pacers have gone 39-26 good for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference and that’s with Oladipo only appearing briefly in 13 games.

That now puts the Indiana Pacers in an intriguing predicament. If they can continue to play at a high level without Oladipo in Orlando, would it be possible to think that trading Oladipo might be best for the team long-term?

We explore why a Victor Oladipo trade could be on the horizon.
