10. Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz has found themselves in the news cycle many times this offseason. For better or worse, the good news that this time it is about basketball. While it remains to be seen whether the Donovan Mitchell-Rudy Gobert off-the-court relationship can be salvaged, they still combine to form one of the better duos in the league.
The loss of Bojan Bogdanovic will certainly hurt, but if Mitchell and Gobert are both on the same page when the season resumes, there’s no question that the Jazz can emerge as a team that could do some damage in the West.
Their ceiling is pretty limited, though. Will we see a more engaged and better Mitchell in the bubble? He has the ability to take over a series and change the math but will need to take another step in his progression first. Will that take place over the next few months?
