3. LA Clippers (44-20)

If the Lakers don’t emerge from the Western Conference, it will be because the LA Clippers win the conference. And if they should, a big reason for that will be Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Assuming both are healthy and fresh for the restart, the Clippers will be set up for success over the next few months.

The Clippers don’t have many weaknesses on their roster and are probably the deepest team in the NBA right now. With no homecourt advantage though, it’s going to be interesting to see how, if at all, that impacts this team. In fact, you could probably say that about any team in the league right now.

The Clippers have the firepower, the defensive talents, and depth. Plus, Doc Rivers has done an amazing job as head coach. There’s plenty to like about LA’s chances when the season resumes. Get ready for an all-Los Angeles Western Conference Finals. It’s coming.
