2. Los Angeles Lakers (49-14)

Any team with LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the way should be considered a strong contender to win the NBA Championship. That’s why the Los Angeles Lakers are considered the favorite to emerge from the Western Conference. Both LeBron and AD will be healthy and fresh heading into the bubble.

If LeBron and AD are on top of their game, it might not even matter how the rest of the roster looks when the season resumes. That’s how good the team’s top two are. And that’s also why they’re going to be so dangerous in a tournament-type restart.

LeBron and AD are both players that can win a series alone. If both are on top of their game and engaged, you can’t help but think that the Lakers are going to be a tough out in a seven-game series.

Plus, this could be LeBron’s last real chance at winning a championship. You can bet that he won’t take that for granted.
