Cleveland Cavaliers
3 top targets: Deni Avdija, James Wiseman, Isaac Okoro
It gets a bit complicated for the Cleveland Cavaliers when it comes to the 2020 NBA Draft. They can go in many different ways, but you’d have to think that they’d prioritize their frontcourt with as much uncertainty that surrounds the future of Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson.
Deni Avdija is an interesting prospect to keep an eye on for the Cavs, especially if they are willing to go all-in on a big swing. Avdija is a high-risk, high-reward player that could interest a team that is looking for a new franchise player. Wiseman is a player that could replace Thompson if the team elects to move on from him. He’s also a prospect that could grow alongside this team’s young core.
Isaac Okoro, arguably the best perimeter defender in this draft, is another name that could interest the Cavs. He’s a player that could likely play from the moment he’s drafted and a player that could grow with Collin Sexton and Darius Garland. He is a project on the offensive end but could end up being one of the best players to emerge from this draft if he develops as many project him to.
