In our NBA Mock Draft 5.0, LaMelo Ball lands with the Knicks

Now that the NBA season has, at least in some ways, resumed, the basketball world has a bit more sense of normalcy around it. Even though we’re certainly not used to playing meaningful basketball in July, the NBA playoffs are just around the corner and games are already being played.

The hope is that the NBA can get through the eight seeding games and playoffs without any issues and that the offseason will occur in October. The 2020 NBA Draft is slated for October 16, and the pre-draft process will likely take place in the weeks before that.

As the season moves along, don’t be surprised to hear more and more emerge from NBA Draft circles, whether that be prospect whispers, smokescreens, or workout musings. The (new)NBA Draft season is not that far off and now that basketball is back, it’s beginning to feel more and more like a reality.

Let’s dig into our NBA Mock Draft 5.0, in which we did a mock draft lottery and a few mock storylines.
