15. Orlando Magic – Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama

Speed kills. In the NBA, that’s still very much in play. For a team that acquired Markelle Fultz not too long ago, it might be a bit strange for the Orlando Magic to take the fifth of sixth point guard in the first round. However, they’re also taking arguably the most overlooked guard on the draft board.

Kira Lewis Jr. is all about speed. That’s why you take him in the first round and there’s no denying that. During his sophomore season at Alabama, Lewis averaged 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game on 46 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Lewis is a bit undersized for a guard, at 6-foot-3, but his speed is what separates him from any other undersized guard. That will be a big factor in his success at the NBA level. In the right system and next to the right players, Kira Lewis Jr. could be a success.
