1. Chicago Bulls – Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia

After winning the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery in our hypothetical, the Chicago Bulls will take the best player available. On most boards, Anthony Edwards is that player. During his lone freshman season at Georgia, Edwards averaged 19 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game on 40 percent shooting from the field.

There are areas of his game that have concerns, specifically his deep shooting consistency, but he has great size and is a player that could be a force on both ends of the floor in the league for many years to come. Edwards could grow along with this team’s young core and won’t even have to start right away.

The Bulls have a strong young core and adding Edwards would only make this team’s future that much more bright. In what many perceive to be a relatively weak draft, coming away with a player like Anthony Edwards would be huge for the Bulls.
