28. Toronto Raptors – Tyler Bey, G, Colorado
Tyler Bey is an interesting prospect. He’s improved in each of his three seasons at Colorado and has really improved his 3-point shooting. Despite the small sample size, it was encouraging to see out of Bey. He still has plenty to prove with his offensive game but is a player that could be taken late in the first round.
Bey has good size for a guard/forward and is an efficient scorer all-around. It’s tough to say that Bey will be able to play a role initially after being drafted, but he could be developed by the Raptors, who have done a great job of doing so in the past.
Bey doesn’t do anything particularly impressive, but he’s a player that a team could be willing to take a chance on late in the first round. Plus, for a team like the Raptors, raw talent and measurables could be a priority over more NBA-ready prospects.
