What to watch as the NBA officially reopens its season

After more than four months removed from the last regular season played, the NBA will be reopening its 2019-20 season with eight seeding games followed by a more traditional playoff format. Tonight, it all begins with a doubleheader.

The New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz will officially begin the festivities and a nightcap between the Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers will close the NBA’s reopening night. A full slate of games will then continue tomorrow and into the weekend as the NBA’s restart hits full swing.

There are many storylines that will begin to unravel tonight, beginning with three of the league’s biggest stars taking the floor tonight. LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and, hopefully, Zion Williamson will all be in action as the NBA officially reopens its season.

In anticipation of what is expected to be an electrifying night for the NBA, we explore three of the bigger topics to keep an eye on heading into the reopening action.
