Trey Burke, Dallas Mavericks

As an add-on to replace Willie Cauley-Stein who opted to sit out, Trey Burke re-joined the Dallas Mavericks and provided huge scoring off the bench on Friday against Houston. After beginning the year in Philadelphia, Burke was released and remained a free agent until signing with Dallas before the restart.

In 30 minutes of action, Trey dropped 31 points on 11-16 shooting from the field and a ridiculous 8-10 from downtown. A former Wooden Award winner at Michigan, Burke has always been known to light up the stat sheet on any given night.

His streaky scoring was on display this weekend as he followed Friday’s performance with just four points in 15 minutes on Sunday against the Suns. Burke can be a huge piece for Dallas in a playoff run if he can keep some consistency.
