22. Washington Wizards

Unsurprisingly, the Washington Wizards are exactly what many expected them to be in the bubble – just a fill-in team. Washington is 0-5 in the bubble and has actually fallen below the Charlotte Hornets in the Eastern Conference standings. Funny thing is that the Hornets weren’t even invited inside the bubble.

Without John Wall, Bradley Beal, and Davis Bertans, this wasn’t exactly unexpected. The Wizards simply don’t have enough firepower or talent on their roster to compete with what some of the other teams in the East. The Wizards didn’t have much of a shot to make the playoffs in the first place.

For the Wizards, next season will play a huge role in where the franchise moves forward. How will Wall look when he returns from injury? Will Beal prove to be all-in with the team (he hasn’t done anything that would suggest otherwise)?

There are plenty of questions surrounding this franchise at the moment. They will eventually need some answers.
