Damian Lillard is a man on a mission. He has been absolutely phenomenal since the NBA restart as the Portland Trail Blazers are fighting to claim that final coveted playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Lillard exploded for 61 points against the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday night, tying his career-high while shooting 17-32 from the field and also adding five rebounds and eight assists. Two days earlier, Lillard dropped  51 points on the Philadelphia 76ers while displaying the poise, determination, and focus a leader must have in order to be successful in this league.

The last two games for Lillard has truly exemplified the meaning of” Dame Time,”  a phrase coined for Lillard’s well-known clutch performances and theatrics in the fourth quarter of games as he has shown the ability to transcend his game when it matters the most.

Against the 76ers, he scored 18 of his 51 in the fourth quarter while chipping in 22 of his 61 points against the Mavs in the final period. He’s been an absolute monster for the Blazers in the restart, there’s no question about that.
