NBA Mock Draft 6.0: Sacramento Kings win the lottery, select LaMelo Ball

The official 2020 NBA Mock Lottery Draft will take place less than a week from today. It is slated for Thursday, August 20, and will be virtual. There’s plenty at stake for this year’s draft lottery even though this will feel unlike any other previous draft season.

The NBA Playoffs are also set to begin in the NBA’s restart bubble this week, so there’s at least some sort of normalcy beginning to return to the league. As playoff teams begin their march towards potentially winning an NBA title, many teams are already knee-deep in draft preparations.

Before we dive into the latest installment of our NBA Mock Draft, we decided to go ahead and do another simulated draft lottery. In this week’s edition, the Sacramento Kings rose 12 spots to take the top spot and the Detroit Pistons also jumped into the top 3.
