NBA playoffs: Storylines and a prediction for Miami Heat vs. Indiana Pacers

Heading into the NBA’s restart, one of the bigger storylines revolved around the matchup between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers. While most of that was due to the entire Jimmy Butler vs. T.J. Warren narrative (we’ll get to that soon enough), these two teams were also likely going to face-off against each other in the NBA playoffs.

Fast forward two weeks and here we are. The postseason is set to begin and the Heat and Pacers are ready to face each other in the first round of the playoffs. Though, it comes with a bit of a letdown considering the Pacers will likely be without Domantas Sabonis and Victor Oladipo is still trying to get back into shape.

The Heat have looked really good in spurts throughout the bubble and will be heading into this series relatively healthy. Miami will be favored, as they should be, but make no mistake that the Pacers won’t be an easy out by any means.
