Watchability rankings for every matchup in the first round of the NBA playoffs

The NBA playoffs start on Monday and the matchups for the first-round are finally set. We take a look at best matchups in terms of watchability. Since the NBA has restarted fans have been treated to some phenomenal games with great performances and playoff-like intensity. Now the prize is on the line, the intensity is about to rampant up and there are plenty of matchups to be excited for.

Role players are not burdened with the pressures of road playoff games and the atmosphere that comes with it. That should only make these games even more competitive.
The best playoff matchups to watch involve great players, storylines, and if we’re lucky in this era, true hatred for one another.

These rankings are based on which matchups will have the most entertaining games, no matter how long the series may go.

8. (1) Milwaukee Bucks vs. (8) Orlando Magic

Giannis Antentekounmpo could likely be the back-to-back league MVP and is a human highlight reel but even he couldn’t save this matchup from being the least interesting series. Milwaukee won the most games in the regular season (56) and rank first in points per game and defensive rating. This is the biggest mismatch in the first round.

Orlando is a solid defensive team but will be hurt without defensive stud Jonathan Isaac. Offensively, Orlando struggles to consistently get great shots and will be even tougher against the length of Milwaukee. In all likelihood, this series ends in a sweep for the Bucks and I doubt most, if any, of the games go down to the wire.
