Which No. 1 seed is in the most trouble after losing Game 1 in the NBA playoffs?
During the opening day of the 2020 NBA playoffs, each of the higher-seeded teams emerged victorious in the first four games. However, day 2 of the playoffs was a much-different narrative. One day 2 of the playoffs, we saw three “lower seeds” win and, specifically, witnessed two huge upsets.
Both No. 1 seeds fell in Game 1 of their respective series. The Los Angeles Lakers dropped Game 1 to Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers while the Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Orlando Magic in their playoff opener.
With both teams now facing an uphill battle in their first-round series, it’s natural to question which team could be in the most trouble heading into Game 2. The good news for both the Bucks and Lakers is that they’ll be able to get back on track after just one day of rest. There’s no prolonged time between games (with the lone rest day) and they’ll be able to get that ugly Game 1 taste out of their mouths.
At the same time, there’s still no fans, no homecourt advantage, and still big questions about their Game 1 performance. Heading into their respective Game 2s, which No. 1 seed is in the most trouble?
