NBA Mock Draft 7.0: The Minnesota Timberwolves win the draft lottery

With the NBA playoffs in full swing and the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery officially in the books, it’s almost beginning to feel somewhat normal. Then again, there’s really not much else in the world right now that would back that up. Nevertheless, it’s officially draft season now that we have the lottery set in stone.

The Minnesota Timberwolves won the NBA Draft Lottery and will pick first in the 2020 NBA Draft. The Golden State Warriors will pick second, with the Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls rounding out the top 4.

With the draft order set, the next few weeks leading up to the NBA Draft will be interesting. Pre-draft workouts will be set and the draft season will be in full swing in no time.

Here are the results from the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery:

1. Minnesota Timberwolves

2. Golden State Warriors

3. Charlotte Hornets

4. Chicago Bulls

5. Cleveland Cavaliers

6. Atlanta Hawks

7. Detroit Pistons

8. New York Knicks

9. Washington Wizards

10. Phoenix Suns

11. San Antonio Spurs

12. Sacramento Kings

13. New Orleans Pelicans

14. Boston Celtics (via Memphis)

Now that the 2020 NBA Draft is officially set, here is my initial mock draft with the set lottery.
