NBA Mock Draft 8.0: LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards go early; Warriors take a big

After what transpired in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery – in which the Minnesota Timberwolves won the No. 1 pick, followed by the Golden State Warriors (picking at 2) and the Charlotte Horents (pick at 3) – we’ll begin to get a bit more clarity when it comes to how the draft will shake out in the coming weeks.

While pre-draft workouts and interviews will also play a big role in giving us a clearer indication, now at least we can begin to gauge who will be available when teams are projected to be on the clock. The first big questions stems from the Wolves. In fact, they’ll have the ability to frame how the first 10 picks unravel.

In the latest edition of our NBA Mock Draft, there are a few different variables that we weighed when it came to the No. 1 pick. Ultimately, we decided to go with the best fit for the Wolves. For the rest of the top 10, that’s kind of the formula we followed.
