Chicago Bulls: 3 prospects to target with the No. 4 overall pick in the draft
By Todd Dudas
Onyeka Okongwu, F, USC
Onyeka Okongwu is a 6-foot-10 big out USC that prided himself on the defensive end during his freshman season. Okongwu has the physical capabilities of defending almost every position on the floor and is an elite shot-blocker. He averaged 2.7 blocks per game during his lone season at USC.
Okongwu also has quick hands for a big, a large wingspan (7-foot-1), and even showed promise on the offensive end. While he’s drawn many comparisons to Bam Adebayo, Okongwu will need time to grow into his physical traits at the NBA level.
Especially for a Bulls team that needs versatility along the frontcourt, Okongwu would be an excellent addition at No. 4 (should he make it there).
The Chicago Bulls will have plenty of options to choose from, picking with the No. 4 overall pick. It’ll be imperative for them to enter the draft with a plan, knowing that they could be one strong offseason (via both the draft and free agency) away from being a playoff team in the Eastern Conference in 2020-21.
