Are the Pacers going to split up Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis?

The Pacers’ front office has been steadfast in making the Myles Turner/Domantas Sabonis (aka Turnbonis) combination work. It is not that it does not work, but the Pacers reportedly want to go to a modern style offense.

In that kind of offense, it is hard seeing Indiana hanging on to both players. While Turner is the better 3-point shooter and is always one of the best shot blockers in the NBA, Sabonis is an All-Star who brings offensive rebounding, passing, and physicality that Turner does not.

Do not be shocked if one of these players is moved this offseason. Turner seems like the player that is most likely to get moved. Sabonis would allow for the inside/outside game when needed and he brings much-needed energy and physicality down low.

Either way, you should expect the Indiana Pacers’ roster to look completely different than in years past.
