3 trade packages that could land LaMelo Ball on the New York Knicks

The 2020 NBA Draft is considered somewhat of an underwhelming class, but there’s no question that there will be a few stars that emerge from the group – even in the weakest or thinnest of classes, that often holds true.

Who will that be in this year’s draft? It’s tough to say before pre-draft workouts or even before the draft itself, however one of the biggest names from this class is LaMelo Ball. One team that was hoping to move up in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery to potentially snag him was the New York Knicks.

Per a report from SNY.TV, teams know that the Knicks want Ball and that Ball and his camp, reportedly, want to land in New York. Even though the Knicks didn’t win the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery, and in fact dropped back to the No. 8 spot, there’s still a pathway to the Knicks landing LaMelo Ball in the 2020 NBA Draft.

If this is something that both parties want, let’s explore three potential trade packages (which will likely be polarizing), that could see LaMelo Ball land with the New York Knicks on NBA Draft night.
