Brooklyn Nets
He’s not a “third star” that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving so desperately want, but he’s a good sixth man. A straight swap between Dennis Schroder and Caris LeVert works. Does he play alongside KD and Kyrie?
I’m not as sure because Dennis loses a lot of his value if those two are taking turns with isolation possessions. Does OKC do it? Would they want another 26-year-old in return who isn’t on the same timeline as their next star? (who, I should mention probably won’t be drafted for a while).
I’ve talked myself out of it but maybe Brooklyn should move their attention towards a really good role player like Schroder, not a “star.” A player like Schroder may be cheap and could emerge as the best talent the Nets could legitimately get their hands on during the offseason.
