Three initial thoughts about the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat ECF

Time and time again throughout their series against the Toronto Raptors, the Boston Celtics looked like a better overall team. That eventually would remain true as the Celtics outlasted the Raptors in Game 7 behind a historic performance from Jayson Tatum who finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists to lead Boston to back to the conference finals for the third time in the last four years.

Now, Tatum and the Celtics will move their focus to the Miami Heat who have been all kinds of impressive in their own light. The Heat knocked off the regular-season champion Milwaukee Bucks in five games – a series that will, unfortunately, be remembered most for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury rather than Miami’s dominance.

Nevertheless, make no mistake, the Heat are playing as impressive as the Celtics are heading into the Eastern Conference Finals.
