Orlando Magic

Like other teams on this list, the Orlando Magic is a team that will be in the market for a point guard this offseason. In the event that they can’t draft one with their pick in the middle of the 2020 NBA Draft, they could look via the trade market to find one that fits their current mold.

Even though Russell Westbrook at times leaves much to be desired as an all-around point guard, he could come in and elevate the Magic’s ceiling almost automatically. Orlando has lacked star power despite making the playoffs over the last couple of seasons and Westbrook would be exactly that.

I’m not sure how much winning a duo of Westbrook and Nikola Vucevic could do in Orlando, but it could be something worth trying for a franchise that has been running into a wall over the last few years after back-to-back first-round playoff exits in the Eastern Conference.

Would acquiring Russell Westbrook solve all of its problems, probably not. But it could be worth a try for this franchise.
