LA Clippers’ biggest need?

Another glaring need for the Clippers to address is the need for a playmaking point guard to run the offense. This alone will mean so much to the Clippers and would serve to spell Kawhi Leonard a bit on offense, as far too much of the load offensively got dumped on his shoulders during their bubble run. Bringing in a playmaking point guard would also help in creating some chemistry on the court and help in getting them into more of an offensive flow as opposed to the 1-on-1, AND 1 mixtape style of hoops we see too much in today’s NBA.

One name being thrown around already has been Chris Paul but there would need to be fences mended and bridges rebuilt after the way in which Paul’s previous stint in LA ended with the Clippers back in 2017. To bring Paul back into the mix would take quite the juggling act, but with ‘the logo’ Jerry West in their back pocket anything is possible.

The Clippers don’t exactly possess a ton of assets to offer up in a trade scenario and as stated before don’t look for them to be moving away from Paul George just yet. So, a move to bring CP3 back to LA is very wishful thinking at this juncture.
