4 prospects the Atlanta Hakws should target in the 2020 NBA Draft

The Atlanta Hawks have been struggling to find their way back to the NBA playoffs for the last three seasons now. Since losing to the Washington Wizards in round one of the Eastern Conference Playoffs back in 2017, the Hawks have a combined record of 73-158 (31.6%).

They’ve found success in recent drafts, selecting a budding superstar in Trae Young and promising young talents like John Collins, Kevin Huerter, De’Andre Hunter, and Cam Reddish. With yet another top 10 pick, GM Travis Schlenk will look to continue to get Young help and add to one of the most exciting young cores in the league.

In this article, we will look at four prospects that the Hawks could target with the sixth overall pick come November 18th (2020 NBA Draft) and the various scenarios, in which Atlanta could land each prospect. This is with the assumption that the Hawks also don’t make any trade up or down and these are projections with the assumption that Atlanta makes their selection at six.
