Loser: Chicago, Minnesota, and Philadelphia

It’s well-documented, but Jimmy Butler has left each of his past destinations on a less than a joyous note.

After getting out of Philly in a sign-and-trade, with the Heat, Jimmy seemed to take on the persona of a solid good chemistry, good character guy that pushed his teammates further in a good way, challenged the veterans, and brought the best out of younger players.

According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe, Butler became interested in signing with Miami after Dwyane Wade told him about the organization when the two were teammates in Chicago in 2016.

"“Miami is an obvious free-agent destination because of its natural perks. But many players are also drawn to the Heat because of the team’s culture and history of success,” Lowe writes."

Because this is the internet and Twitter exists, should we look back at all that the Bulls, Wolves, and 76ers did wrong? You can probably find that kind of chatter elsewhere, not on Sir Charles in Charge.

For now, let’s enjoy all that this team is giving us and watch Jimmy do his best at locking down LeBron James in the NBA Finals.
