5 trades that could shakeup the 2020 NBA Draft

To say that the 2020 NBA Draft is somewhat of an unknown would be an understatement. Especially at this point in the pre-draft process, there is so much that we don’t know about the NBA Draft that it’s almost impossible to predict what will transpire on November 18, when it’s currently scheduled to take place.

While the level of uncertainty heading into the pre-draft process could be viewed as frustrating for teams, I think it adds a level of excitement for most fans. Not only could it open the door for an unprecedented draft (where we have no clear indication of how the draft will unfold), but it could also open the door for teams taking more of a gamble in the trade market.

The NBA Draft has historically been a breeding ground for trades and that could very well be the case once again this season, especially considering the lack of a true pre-draft process. Of course, that will begin to change over the next couple of months, but this will be a draft like none before it.

With that idea in mind, we explore five potential trades that could end up shaking the 2020 NBA Draft.
