Warriors use the No. 2 pick to land help in the frontcourt

There’s likely no player that the Golden State Warriors can pick with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft that could have as much of an impact that a Myles Turner could have for this team during the 2021 season. If the whispers are true that the Indiana Pacers could move Myles Turner this offseason, the Warriors make a ton of sense.

Golden State could add a starting center that could both defend the rim and hit the 3-point shot on a consistent basis. Turner averaged 12 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks per game on 46 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Playing next to Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson would likely increase his offensive efficiency too. Not to mention playing on the defensive end with Draymond Green would make his life easier on that end too.

Myles Turner on the Warriors makes a lot of sense and would be downright unfair for opposing offenses. The Pacers would lose Turner but add the No. 2 pick where they could add a potential future face of the franchise.
