Can Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid coexist in his system?

Finally, and perhaps the most important question now that there’s a new leader in charge of the team, Doc Rivers must decide whether Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid will be able to coexist together in the Philadelphia 76ers’ attempt to win a championship. Does Rivers believe that he can transform this current team into a championship contender?

Through the first three years together, there have been some concerns about this duo winning big in the NBA. However, if Simmons doesn’t develop a jump-shooting game, whether he and Embiid can coexist long-term together will continue to be a question.

If both players need the paint to operate, you almost have to surround them with shooters to help make that happen. This past season, the Sixers failed to do that. Will that change under Doc Rivers?
