24. Milwaukee Bucks – Jaden McDaniels, F, Washington
The Milwaukee Bucks will be heading into arguably their most important season in franchise history and adding a player like Jaden McDaniels might not help immediately but is a player that could pay dividends a few years down the line. McDaniels averaged 13 points and six rebounds on 34 percent shooting from 3-point range during his freshman season.
25. Oklahoma City Thunder – Tre Jones, G, Duke
With the likelihood that the Oklahoma City Thunder will trade Chris Paul, adding a point guard in the 2020 NBA Draft would be wise. Tre Jones could be in play. Even though he’s not considered an elite prospect, he proved to be a gamer during his time at Duke and could play a role for Thunder as they continue to rebuild.
26. Boston Celtics – Vernon Carey Jr., C, Duke
During the playoffs, much was made about the Boston Celtics’ inability to defend Bam Adebayo because of the team’s lack of size. Vernon Carey Jr. is anything but a defensive force but he does have size and could grow into a role for the Celtics in 2021.
