3. Charlotte Hornets – James Wiseman, C, Memphis

There might not be an easier selection than the Charlotte Hornets at No. 3. Assuming that nothing out of ordinary takes place with the first two selections and that LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards are both off the board when the Hornets go on the clock, expect Charlotte to take a shot here with a big man.

The most talented one still on the board happens to be James Wiseman. He has the ability to average a double-double and his raw athleticism makes him one of the most intriguing prospects from this class. His potential will make him a top 5 pick in this draft and we likely still haven’t even seen the best of Wiseman.

The big question about Wiseman is whether or not he’ll be able to fit in with the modern NBA big. He has the raw potential to do so, but he’ll need to develop a consistent jump shot and prove that he could be a threat on both sides of the floor.

The Hornets will bet that he can.
