Looking back at recent NBA Draft regrets from the Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings have made a habit of choosing some questionable players in the NBA Draft, with the likes of Jimmer Fredette immediately springing to mind. What’s interesting is that the front office hasn’t learned from these mistakes and have managed to miss out on more stars then they have drafted over the last few years.

Specifically, since the 2015 NBA Draft, the Kings have had four lottery picks (they will pick 12th in the 2020 NBA Draft, scheduled for November 18). Out of these four, only one pick has been validated as a good decision. The other three have been anything but that for the Sacramento Kings.

However, with new general manager Monte McNair, the Kings will be hoping to turn a new page on their recent NBA Draft failures. As we inch closer to the 2020 NBA Draft, we look back at their past mistakes and explore the Sacramento Kings’ biggest draft regrets over the last few seasons.
