Way-too-early NBA championship contender rankings for 2021

Now that the 2019-20 NBA season has reached its conclusion, it’s safe to say that this past season will be a year that players and its viewing fans will never forget. It started under the umbrella of normalcy in various NBA arenas across the country. Then, it ended in a basketball bubble in Orlando in which the Los Angeles Lakers won its 17th NBA championship in franchise history.

While the league doesn’t know when the games will be played next season due to the uncertainty of COVID-19, here is a way-too-early ranking of the top 10 championship contenders for the 2020-2021 season that has a chance to put their hands on the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
