James Wiseman jumps to No. 1 in our latest NBA Mock Draft

Less than a month away from the 2020 NBA Draft, it’s being reported that the Minnesota Timberwolves don’t have any one prospect that they’ve settled on with the No. 1 overall pick. That could be both a good and bad thing for teams picking behind them heading into the November 18 draft.

For the fans, and those covering the draft itself, that could signal absolute chaos on draft night and in the weeks leading up to the event. That’d be a win for nearly everyone else involved. With whispers that the NBA is eyeing a December start for the 2020-21 season, it could add to the draft night chaos even more.

If the NBA begins in December, that would leave roughly two months for the NBA Draft and free agency. It could indicate even more draft night trades, leading up to free agency beginning only days after the draft.

Here is this week’s NBA Mock Draft, in which we see a bit of a shake-up at the top of the board.
