11. San Antonio Spurs – Patrick Williams, F, Florida State

There’s a good chance that the San Antonio Spurs’ roster will look a lot different at the start of the 2021 season than I did at the start of the 20 19–20 season. With that said, the Spurs will likely take a player at No. 11 with a high ceiling and a high floor.

The good news is that the Spurs are one of the best developmental franchises in the NBA. At No. 11, the Spurs will select Patrick Williams. Williams is a 6-foot-8 forward with a ton of potential heading into his transition to the NBA.

While Williams didn’t post huge numbers during his freshman season at Florida State, he has the size, length, and ability to be a really good player in the NBA. In the right system and under the right development, there’s a really good chance Williams could end up being the star that many expected him to be in college.

He is the type of player that could end up being a better pro than he was a college player. At least that’s what the Spurs will be hoping they’re getting with this pick at No. 11.
