Could the New York Knicks emerge as a dark horse threat for Bradley Beal?

The New York Knicks have been a media punch bag for several years now. Poor coaching, a poor front office, and abysmal ownership have leveled a once-great franchise to the ground.

A shining light was gifted to the Knicks in the form of Kristaps Porzingis and the Knicks organization as a whole found a way for their young star to become disillusioned and seek pastures anew.

The fans of the New York Knickerbockers deserve so much better from the franchise. With the staff, they have assembled in the front office and the coaching staff ranks, it seems like the Knicks will be better.

The Knicks are a glitz and glamour franchise. They are star chasers, and currently, the Knicks are without a star. Names such as Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook have been floated but they offer short term satisfaction rather than long term success.

The Knicks require a long term solution to a long-term problem. Is it time for the New York Knicks to swing for the fences and land their franchise cornerstone? Could that franchise player be current Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal?

Could he start a revolution in New York that could bring the Knicks back to the high table of the NBA? Can Leon Rose and Coach Thibs pull it off?
