4 improvements the Philadelphia 76ers must make during the offseason

The Philadelphia 76ers knew exactly what they needed in a head coach. They wanted somebody with a proven track record, a coach who earns the respect of his players, and someone who knows how to win and lead at the same time.

More importantly, they wanted someone who could help their young superstars continue to develop and reach their full potential. After the LA Clippers fired Doc Rivers after their epic meltdown in the playoffs, the 76ers wasted no time bringing him on board giving him a five-year deal.

While Rivers has had his fair share of playoff failures, he is still a championship coach at the end of the day and the 76ers front office has confidence that Rivers is the man to lead this franchise and get them to the NBA Finals. Even though the 76ers are a playoff team and are legitimate contenders in the Eastern Conference, they still have their work cut out and must improve.

Here is a list of improvements for the Philadelphia 76ers headed into the offseason to begin the Doc Rivers era in Philadelphia.
