19. Jae Crowder, unrestricted
There is a case to be made that the Miami Heat doesn’t make the NBA Finals and their prolific playoff run doesn’t take place without Jae Crowder on the roster. After being acquired at the NBA trade deadline, Crowder looked like a completely different player than he was in Memphis.
Specifically, in the playoffs, Crowder averaged 12 points, six rebounds, and two assists per game on 40 percent shooting from the field at 34 percent shooting from 3-point range. He was fantastic on the defensive end of the floor, specifically in the series against the Milwaukee Bucks, and was a big reason why the Heat was so successful (and versatile) in the playoffs.
I’m sure Miami will be interested in re-signing Crowder in some sense but there’s a good chance that other teams will try to poach him in an attempt to add another playoff veteran to the roster.
