19. Brooklyn Nets – Aleksej Pokusevski, F,

For the Brooklyn Nets, it’s hard to believe that anyone they take with the No. 19 overall pick will be making any substantial contributions to the team this season. Led by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, this team will be in contention in the Eastern Conference and likely won’t be leaning on any rookies.

Aleksej Pokusevski is a player they can draft and stash and keep overseas as he continues to develop.

20. Miami Heat – Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky

If Tyrese Maxey is still on the board for the Miami Heat at No. 20, I have a hard time believing that they’re going to pass up on the chance at taking him. They’ve had great success with Kentucky prospects in the recent past, with Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro, I suspect they wouldn’t think twice about adding Maxey.

Ultimately, I’d be shocked if Maxey falls to 20, but could wind up being quite the steal should the board fall in this manner.
