4. Chicago Bulls – LaMelo Ball, G, Illawarra Hawks

With LaMelo Ball falling out of the top 3 in the NBA Draft, it would present the Chicago Bulls with a golden opportunity when they officially go on the clock. Selecting Ball could help rejuvenize this franchise and would give this new era of Bulls basketball a face.

Even though there have been recent reports that Ball’s stock continues to drop, there’s no question the Bulls should seriously think about taking him should he be there at No. 4. He fills a need for the team, could grow into a franchise player, and would immediately drive up interest from the fan base.

There are certainly concerns about LaMelo Ball and his potential at the NBA level, but it’s also become very evident that the star potential is there. Forget his dad, forget how disappointing Lonzo has been during his first few years in the league. LaMelo should be viewed as his own prospect, and he shouldn’t fall any lower than five.
