9. Washington Wizards – Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn

It’s difficult to gauge what the Washington Wizards would want to do with the ninth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, but if there’s one player that kind of fits almost every team it’s Isaac Okoro, a 6-foot-6 forward out of Auburn.

During his freshman season at Auburn, Okokro averaged 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists on 51 percent shooting for the field. If there is some concern about Okoro and his ability to make the transition to the NBA, it will be because of his inconsistent 3-point shooting. He’s coming off of a season in which he only shot 29 percent from 3 on 2.5 attempts per game.

Okoro is a great defender and has the potential to be a versatile one in the NBA. If he can continue to develop on both ends of the floor, he has the chance to be one of the better prospects to emerge from this draft. Playing next to two talented guards such as John Wall and Bradley Beal should make his transition easier, too.
