Milwaukee Bucks

Ever since Marc Lasry and the Milwaukee Bucks brass met with Giannis to say they’re committed to winning in Milwaukee and build a contender around him, they’ve attached their name to every trade candidate.

Each of these trades is either Eric Bledsoe and future draft picks (they have Indiana’s first-round pick this season from the Malcolm Brogdon trade, two future Pacer’s seconds, and their own first next season). Or it’s the combination of Robin Lopez, Ersan Ilyasova, George Hill, and said draft picks.

The latter is less likely with Bledsoe and Holiday bringing the same thing to the equation.

I’d like to point, as I always do, to the past offseason when Milwaukee had the opportunity to re-sign Malcolm Brogdon, dipping into the tax but keeping a player that was so good for them and could act as a pressure release/create his own shot when the ball was out of Giannis’ hands.

It might be a case of too little, too late. We’ll see how it all folds out.
