Davis Bertans

The Latvian Laser is always ready to home in and fire away. Davis Bertans was a sniper from 3-point land for the Washington Wizards – firing round after round from all spots behind the arc. The most intriguing of the shooters on this list, Bertans is most likely looking for a big payday during this free agency period.

The forward averaged 15.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists while shooting near identical from the field (43.4%) and 3-point line (42.2).

Like Joe Harris, Bertans had a season in which he showcased why he is a top tier marksman in the NBA. The Wizards had a subpar year, and Davis was given the green light to hoist whenever, and wherever, he pleased – but numbers are numbers, the guy hit a great percentage, on a chunky volume.

The Wizards have the money he is looking for, as well as the rotational fit to boot – slotted next to Bradley Beal (and hopefully John Wall) will not do anything other than getting you open shots. A player of this caliber might be difficult to hold onto with the need for shooters being at an extreme – DC might be saying goodbye to their shooting specialist.
