Brooklyn gears up

Sacramento takes care of their Buddy Hield problem, while also adding a potential building-block (though I’m not as high on Caris LeVert as some) on a manageable contract to pair with De’Aaron Fox.

This would also bring some insurance in the event of a Ludacris (pun intended, *cough*Hawks*cough*) Bogdan Bogdanovic offer sheet – he’s a restricted free agent heading into the 2020 offseason.

This is mainly an asset play for Brooklyn, as they grab a valuable trade chip to include in a potential package for the next available superstar. Swallowing the Hield contract is tough, but his shooting prowess makes him a cleaner fit next to KD/Kyrie than LeVert as the Nets make the shift from playoff team to championship contender.
