Warriors add some pieces, Knicks move up

Golden State gets a young player with upside here in Robinson, as well as picking up two veterans who can contribute now. The Golden State Warriors have a widely-speculated desire to move down, which makes sense given their current championship aspirations and the murkiness that is the top of this draft.

From the New York Knicks’ perspective, this moves grants them an opportunity to land a franchise cornerstone with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft – potentially LaMelo Ball, who the team has been linked to over the last few weeks.

On the other hand, Andrew Wiggins and R.J. Barrett together is not exactly an idea that a basketball purist would conjure up.
